Equality California, along with Equality California Intstitue and the Equality California PAC, share a mission to achieve for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Californias. Founded in 1988, Equality California has offices in Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Francisco 06.
ICAN
Established in 1979, ICAN Associates
is a private, non- profit organization which supports the work of the Inter-Agency Council on Child Abuse and Neglect (ICAN).
ICAN Associates' mission is two-fold:
- To improve the lives of abused, neglected and at-risk children through special projects, advocacy, education and awareness.
- To provide support to the Inter-Agency Council on Child Abuse and Neglect (ICAN) and professionals and agencies who work with children and their families.
AIDS Marathon
The National AIDS Marathon Training Program is geared to both beginners and experienced runners. The full marathon program starts with three miles of running and walking, and then gradually increases in distance. The half marathon program starts with just one mile. Whether you have never run a step, or you are a seasoned marathoner who wants to improve your personal best, this program will help you succeed. It’s a great way to get fit, have fun, and make a tremendous difference in the lives of people living with AIDS.
Spirituality for Kids
SFK is an international organization with life-transforming programs that are suitable for children, aged six and older, from all ethnic, religious, economic, social, and geographic backgrounds. SFK teaches children spiritual wisdom and practical tools so they can meet life's challenges with confidence and success. This provides a sense of certainty that no matter how hard things may seem, they can control their destinies by making responsible choices that involve thinking of others and putting in effort.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity International is a non profit, non denominational Christian housing ministry. Habitat welcomes all people regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or any other difference to build simple, decent, affordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter.
